We remember your chosen language in this browser. Changing the language does not change or upload your saved barcodes.

A functional cookie remembers your language choice for up to one year. It contains only the language code.

Barcode content stays in your browser

Barcode generation happens on your device. The generator does not send your entered content, saved names or generated images to our server. Downloads are created locally.

Barcode image identification

Images you select, drop or paste are decoded on your device. Neither the image, its filename nor decoded content is uploaded or saved in your barcode history. Use “Clear image & results” to remove them from the page. The reader is downloaded from our own website when needed.

Saved barcodes

When you save or download a barcode, its content and settings are stored in this browser’s local storage. There is no fixed item limit; capacity depends on the storage available in your browser. When storage is full, we show a warning rather than automatically deleting older items. They are not synchronized to an account or another device. You can delete individual entries under “My barcodes,” or remove all of them by clearing this site’s browser data. Private browsing may discard them when your session ends.

Website requests

Your browser still requests pages, scripts, styles and fonts from the website. Hosting infrastructure may log standard request information such as IP address, requested page, time and browser information. Barcode content is not placed in page URLs. We use no advertising scripts or third-party font requests.

Visits and feature usage

Like our other websites, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics on public pages to understand aggregate visits, page popularity, referring sites, approximate country, device and browser categories, and page performance. Cloudflare processes these requests without analytics cookies or advertising identifiers. See its privacy policy.

We also count successful editing, PNG/SVG/GIF download starts, explicit saves, reuse, format selection and image identification. Successful identification counts once per detected format per scan; scans with no decoded result count under “unknown”. Only the action and barcode type are sent to our own server; they are immediately combined into daily totals kept without automatic age-based deletion. We do not attach barcode content, saved names, images, identifiers or browsing histories to these counters. The counter endpoint has access logging disabled. Visit and feature statistics are skipped when your browser signals Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Generating, saving and downloading still work if statistics are blocked.
